Introduction

Binding Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, along with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms (“Terms”), constitute a binding agreement between GDGoC WoW 2025 Andhra Pradesh (“we,” “our,” “us”) and you (“you,” “your”), and govern your use of our website and mobile application wow.vizag.dev, dev.theananta.wow2025 and participation in any event, service, or interaction associated with GDGoC WoW 2025 (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing the website, app and using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, including the Privacy Policy. We may modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically for updates.

Registration Terms

By registering you acknowledge that your information will be used in accordance with GDGWOW's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

You may not register on behalf of anyone else. GDGWOW registration must be used by the original registrant and is non-transferable.

All information entered into the registration form must be correct and accurate to the best of your knowledge. All information must be entered in English. Some of the information entered (such as name and company), will be displayed to other users.

By registering and accepting any discounts, gifts, or items of value related to GDGWOW 2026 Visakhapatnam, you certify that you are able to do so in compliance with applicable laws and the internal rules of your organization.

Tickets may not be sold, bartered, or auctioned in any way, and doing so may result in GDGWOW AP rendering the ticket null and void without any responsibility to GDGWOW AP.

Attendees aren't permitted to bring guests to GDGWOW 2026 Visakhapatnam. If you have someone traveling with you, they'll need to register themselves and purchase an attendee ticket.

Event conduct

By registering you agree to follow the Community Guidelines and Anti-Harassment Policy.

Photography and Media

Photographs and/or video taken at GDGWOW 2026 Visakhapatnam by GDGWOW AP, or others on behalf of GDGWOW AP, may include your image or likeness.

You agree that GDGWOW AP may use such photographs and/or video for any purpose without compensation to you.

Liability and Safety

You agree to be solely responsible for your own safety, belongings, and well-being while participating in GDGWOW 2026 Visakhapatnam.

GDGWOW AP won't be liable for your participation in GDGWOW 2026 Visakhapatnam.

Pass Types & Access Rights

WOW+ Pass — ₹350 (The Community's Pass)

Definition: A pre-event engagement pass granting access to the "Now in Google" (GDGWOW) App and the 4-week gamified journey.

Inclusions: Access to live coaching, technical workshops, community channels, peer-to-peer messaging, and recorded content.

Important: The WOW+ Pass is NOT a ticket to the physical event at GITAM University. It is a prerequisite/supplement that offers a pathway to a discounted event ticket.

The WOW+ Route: Users can earn up to a 100% discount on the WOW Event Ticket based on their leaderboard performance within the app games over the 4-week period.

Event Passes (Early Bird, Regular, Late Bird)

Inclusions: Access to all physical sessions, Google Developer Expert (GDE) talks, the 14-hour hackathon, and event amenities.

App Access: Event pass holders receive app access for networking and schedules but do not have access to the "Games" section, which is exclusive to WOW+ Pass holders for discount earning.

The 14-Hour Hackathon

Timeline & Eligibility

The hackathon starts on 4th July at 04:00 PM and ends on 5th July at 06:00 AM.

Open only to registered Event Pass holders. Teams must consist of 3 to 5 members.

Requirements

All participants must bring their own laptops, chargers, and any necessary hardware. These will not be provided at the venue.

Overnight Stay

Participants are expected to remain at the venue throughout the hackathon.

If an emergency arises, at least two team members must remain on-site at all times to maintain project eligibility.

Accommodation & Amenities

Food & Internet

Registration includes complimentary breakfast, lunch, and dinner during the event days.

High-speed Wi-Fi will be provided by GITAM University throughout the event.

Hostel Stay

Pre-event accommodation on 3rd July is available for ₹300 (not included in the event ticket).

Check-out is 11:59 AM on 4th July. Extensions up to 6th July are available via the app for ₹200/night, subject to availability.

This is shared accommodation. Attendees must follow all GITAM hostel rules during their stay.

Refund & Transfer Policy

Non-Transferable: Tickets are tied to the individual's identity and cannot be sold, bartered, or transferred to another person under any circumstance.
Non-Refundable: All pass purchases (WOW+ and Event) are final. No refunds will be issued for no-shows or changes in plans.
Information Accuracy: Information provided during registration must be accurate and in English. Incorrect details may lead to the voiding of the pass without a refund.

Conduct & Media

Zero Tolerance

Attendees must follow the Community Guidelines and Anti-Harassment Policy. Smoking and soliciting are strictly prohibited at the venue.

Photography & Media Consent

GDGWOW AP reserves the right to use photographs and videos taken during the event for promotional purposes.

By attending, you waive rights to compensation for your likeness being used in such materials.

Liability

Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings (laptops, bags, etc.).

GDGWOW AP and GITAM University are not liable for loss, theft, or injury during the event.

Usage Policy

User Responsibilities: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration or participation.
We make no guarantees about the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content or service offered.
Your use of the Services is at your own risk and discretion.
Any misuse of the Services or website for unlawful or unauthorized purposes may result in legal action.

Intellectual Property

Ownership: All content, branding, logos, and materials are the intellectual property of GDGoC WoW 2025 Andhra Pradesh or its partners. You may not reuse them without written permission.

Legal Terms

Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control including natural disasters, pandemics, or internet outages.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction: These Terms are governed by Indian law. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
Third-Party Links: Our website/app may contain links to third-party platforms. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
